412 FOOD RESCUE BOTTLE RELEASE! Spring Hill Brewing and A Few Bad Apples have teamed up! They brought the juice, we brought the brew, and the result is an exciting beer-cider hybrid that packs a peary punch. A portion of proceeds from each 22 oz. bottle benefit 412 Food Rescue, an organization dedicated to fighting food waste and hunger. Cost: Free to attend.

DOWNWARD FACING GROG! Our resident yogi, Siobhan, is hosting a wonderful evening of yoga instruction followed by beverages. Proceeds benefit the Women’s Center + Shelter of Pittsburgh. Kicking it off is a 30-minute Buti (power yoga/dance hybrid) seminar and demo class, followed by a 45-minute modified Vinyasa flow. We’ll be releasing a spiced grog-inspired beer perfect for the fall season, too! And remember: we have classes here every Tuesday -- see our website for details. Cost: Suggested donation of $20 for class and a beer or non-alcoholic beverage ($15 if you bring a donation of sanitary/hygienic items for the shelter).

When Two Scientists Walk Into a Bar™, they're ready to have a chat with anyone who wants to shoot the breeze over a couple of beverages. Have a seat and ask them your burning science questions. While each scientist will have different areas of expertise, they're game to be challenged. Just look for the sign that reads: "We are scientists. Ask us anything!" Cost: Free!

PUPPET SLAM n' PICNIC! The Puppetry Guild of Pittsburgh with support from KG Autoworks presents their 3rd annual Puppet Slam n' Picnic, at the Workingmen's Beneficial Union event hall. Multiple local performers will share their talents in short, entertaining sets. This is a family-friendly event, but parents please note that some adult content is scheduled for later in the evening. BYOPicnic, or purchase food from the Asado food truck. Cost: $10 adult/$5 children.

Admission includes Spring Hill Brewing pint glass! There will be entertainment, and additional refreshments for sale from our friends at Gaucho. Proceeds from this event go to making sure we have the resources to recruit and pay employees fairly, and grow our brew operations.
